The number one thing that i will forever despise (now that we're two days into 2010)
and now ladies and gentlemen (or maybe just gents, or maybe nobody at all for that matter...) ahem.
The NUMBER ONE thing i will forever despise.
People who sing offkey.
not even just that but when its offkey and its a song i loive, or when it's the new POPSTAR kids something something when they sing some great hits and completely butcher and bastardize the song for their own little profit. Watching those commercials is pretty much like taking a giant samurai sword and slowly shaving off pieces of my face. its THAT brutal.
and with that we enter 2010.
a few lessons i have learned this year:
1. never ever ever ever buy something online that is not going to be shipped to you. i.e. a blog with the promise of ad revenue. because no matter what the whole "spend money to make money" adage is only right in terms of actual investments. online ones unless they are e-commerce related are generally gonna keep you in the dark with 10 less dollars in your pocket.
2. although you may not know what may come in the future, it's generally not a bad idea to take a bit of time to think about it and not lock yourself into something wily nily. I know i know, a lot of normal people actually think. This lesson i learned is for the idiots like me, if there are any at all like me.
3. keeping friends may be hard, but a relationship is only as strong as the bonds made after tribulation.
4. remember no matter what happens, as long as you are the best person within then you are the best person for you.
